Francis Conrad B. Deloria, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Fisheries from the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) sealed the 9th spot with an average of 84.50% in the 2023 Fisheries Professional Licensure Examination (FPLE) held on October 25-26, 2023 as announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) today, November 06, 2023.

In an interview, Deloria shared that the questions in the examination were complex and that he only wished to pass and get the license. Additionally, he underscored that he joined the series of online reviews conducted by USM and attended an in-person review in Mindanao State University – General Santos City (MSU-GSC) on weekends. Additionally, he considered reading publications about the fisheries of the Philippines and other countries a fascinating portion of his review journey.

Deloria expressed his appreciation to his close friends for sharing their notes and to his family members who serve as his inspiration for his significant achievement. When asked about his message for the next FPLE takers, he said: “Early dapat ang preparation para dili mag-rush. I have not read all my reviewers; however, I prioritized what I think would come out in the exam.”

Deloria, a resident of Grebona, Libungan, Cotabato, graduated Magna Cum Laude in June 2023.
