USM Faculty Publish Locally-Funded Research

Congratulations to Engr. Maricel G. Dayaday and Engr. Fredelino A. Galleto, Jr. of the College of Engineering and Information Technology for publishing the output of their locally-funded research. Their publication entitled, Electronic Waste (E-Waste) Management of Higher Education Institutions in South Central Mindanao, Philippines, was published in Environment and Natural Resources Journal, indexed in Web of Science. This publication derives from their 2020 research entitled, Utilization of Electronic Waste Management Model: The Intervention in the case of Higher Education Institutions of North Cotabato. This publication was also a successful output of the mentoring and follow-up sessions carried out by the Office of the Vice President for Research, Development and Extension in collaboration with the Research Publication Services Office, with seasoned authors as guest mentors.

It is hoped that this publication inspires other project leaders to make their outputs more accessible through a wider audience.
