The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) welcomed Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) for a benchmarking activity as part of its Comparative Feasibility Study for several proposed academic programs on September 2, 2026.

As one of the higher education institutions in the SOCCSKSARGEN Region offering a wide range of academic programs, USM shared its experiences and practices with the visiting delegation to support SKSU’s assessment of the feasibility of its proposed programs.

USM President Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Leorence C. Tandog welcomed the SKSU delegation and shared information on the University’s implementation of programs, including Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology, Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

The activity allowed USM to share its experiences in program implementation and contribute to SKSU’s ongoing assessment of its proposed academic offerings, while providing an avenue for both institutions to exchange insights on higher education practices.
