USM Takes Part in SKSU’s Comparative Feasibility Study for Programs

The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) joined the week-long celebration of the 112th Kalivungan Festival in Cotabato Province from August 26 to September 1, 2026, held at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in Amas, Kidapawan City. The festivity featured a variety of activities that actively engaged members of the USM community.
One of the highlights of the festival was the Yaman ng Cotabato Travel and Trade Expo, which gathered Local Government Units (LGUs), cooperatives, and State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) through a dynamic booth exhibition. USM stood out with a vibrant display showcasing a wide range of offerings—from locally grown fruits and vegetables to institutional knowledge and innovative food products.
The festival concluded on September 1 at The Basket Pavilion, Provincial Capitol, gathering provincial leaders and dignitaries. USM demonstrated its full support for the province’s initiatives, led by University President Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel.
USM’s active participation underscores the university’s dedication to provincial development, regional progress, and the continuous promotion of local agriculture and innovation.
