USM Honors Legacy, Celebrates Alumni in 2026 Founding Anniversary

Twenty-seven University of Southern Mindanao (USM) alumni passed the September 2026 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination, giving the university a 50 percent overall passing rate, higher than the 37.14 percent national passing rate.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the examination results today, October 2.
Of USM’s 16 first-time examinees, nine passed, giving the university a 56.25 percent passing rate. Among the repeat examinees, 18 of 38 also passed, bringing the total number of new USM-licensed civil engineers to 27.
The Civil Engineers Licensure Examination was conducted on September 26–27, 2026, administered by the PRC Board of Civil Engineering in 19 testing center across the Philippines.
Nationwide, 6,337 of 17,062 examinees passed the examination, posting a 37.14% national passing rate.
