KABACAN, Cotabato — The Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer and Business Development Office (IPTTBDO) of the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) convened a consultation meeting with business establishments utilizing the USM logo on June 11, 2026, at the USMart TBI Office, Extension Building. The activity aimed to address concerns regarding the proper use, protection, and commercialization of the University’s trademark and institutional identity.

The meeting brought together business operators who are using the USM logo in products, promotional materials, and commercial activities. Discussions focused on trademark protection, licensing requirements, compliance with university policies, and the legal implications of unauthorized use of the USM name and logo.
