USM is now ISO 9001:2015 Certified Following a comprehensive audit conducted on April 27 to 29, 2026, which resulted in a recommendation for certification under the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) has officially received its ISO 9001:2015 Certification from TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. Notably, the audit covered the University’s key areas, including the provision of tertiary education, research, development and extension, as well as support services, to determine whether existing systems and processes remain aligned with international quality management standards. The certification reflects USM’s ongoing commitment to quality service and continuous improvement in meeting the needs of its stakeholders.
