The SOCCSKSARGEN Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (SOXAARRDEC) gathered its Executive Board Members for the 2nd Quarter Executive Board Meeting for CY 2026, on June 25, 2026, at the Philippine Rice Research Institute-Midsayap Experimental Station, Bual Norte, Midsayap, Cotabato.
The meeting was presided over by Dr. Edwin T. Balaki, RRDCC Chairperson and President of Southern Christian College. Executive Board members present were Dr. Sailila E. Abdula, RRDCC Vice Chairperson and Branch Director of PhilRice-Midsayap Experimental Station, Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel, President of the Base Agency, University of Southern Mindanao, Mr. Jonathan K. Dilna of the Cotabato State University, and Ms. Maimona B. Amil of the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office XII. Dr. Julius Jerome G. Ele, Consortium Director and Executive Board Secretary, Dr. Mark Al-Jamie J. Muttulani, and SOXAARRDEC and PhilRice-MES personnel were also present.
The event also included the birthday celebration of Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel, honoring him with a cake, gifts, and birthday wishes.
SOXAARRDEC expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Abdula, for the hospitable hosting and generous sponsorship of the meeting. This is a manifestation that the spirit of uganayan lives on in our consortium.
