The USM Employees’ Credit Cooperative (USMECCO) gathered its members for the 22nd General Assembly on March 6, 2026, at the University Gymnasium, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.

USM President Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel, in an inspirational message, congratulated the officers and members of USMECCO for the cooperative’s accomplishments over the past two decades. He acknowledged its role in providing financial services and support to university employees.

During the assembly, Accountant Edelle G. Hernandez presented the external auditor’s report. The report showed that the cooperative recorded higher income in 2025 compared to the previous year. It also noted an increase in current assets, indicating steady financial growth.

An election of officers was also conducted. For the Board of Directors positions, four were elected. Prof. Yvonne V. Saliling received the highest number of votes with 223, followed by Dr. Eimer M. Estilloso with 210, Dr. Norge D. Martinez with 160, and Dr. Lawrence Anthony U. Dollente with 131 votes.

The general assembly allowed members to receive updates on the cooperative’s financial performance and activities while taking part in important decisions that guide the direction of the organization.
