USM Trade Fair 2026 Opens to the Public Marking the beginning of its Founding Anniversary celebration and Pasiklaban 2026, the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) officially opened the Trade Fair on September 16, 2026, at the Founder’s Landmark, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato. During the Opening Program, Ms. Quenielyn L. Durendes, Vice President for Administration and Finance (VPAF), emphasized that the celebration of Pasiklaban and the Founding Anniversary serves as a reminder of the memories, experiences, and milestones that have helped make USM what it is today. “Panatilihin nating buhay ang diwa ng Pasiklaban at ang pagkakaisa ng buong USM Community,” Durendes remarked. Meanwhile, USM President Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel thanked the entrepreneurs and exhibitors who joined the Trade Fair, saying that their participation adds vibrance and meaning to the celebration. In his message, he also encouraged the USM Community to help keep the surroundings clean and to enjoy the activities in a safe, peaceful, and meaningful way. “Today we see what makes our university truly special; a place where generations meet on one common ground, sharing memories, experiences, talents, products, and aspirations,” the President said. The office of the Vice President for Resource Generation and Entrepreneurial Services (VPRGES) organized the activity in coordination with the Business Development Center (BDC), Security Services and Management Office (SSMO), and the University Quality Assurance Office. The Trade Fair brings together participating traders and their products and is open to the public until October 1, 2026.
