USM PhD Students Lead Outreach for ELCAC Peace Advocates in South Cotabato

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) awarded a Plaque of Appreciation to the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) on December 5, 2025, at the Dreamweaver’s Hotel in Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
DICT recognized USM for its steadfast support and meaningful partnership in advancing capacity-building initiatives in the region. According to the plaque, USM’s commitment, collaboration, and dedication greatly contributed to the successful implementation of programs under the ICT Literacy and Competency Development Bureau (ILCDB) of DICT Regional Office XII.
Prof. Eugene G. Ranjo, Director of the USM University Information, Communications, and Technology Office (UICTO), accepted the award on behalf of USM President Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel.
