Two pre-service teachers from the University of Southern Mindanao – PALMA ranked first runner up after competing against 7 institutions in the quiz bee contest during the Philippine Association For Teachers and Educators (PAFTE) 2025 Congress on February 15, 2025 at the SCC Fellowship Center, Midsayap, Cotabato.
The pre-service teachers were Gizelle Salazar, a Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) student and – Jenalyn Sanchez, a Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE) of Aleosan and Libungan Campus, respectively.
Guided by its theme: “Empowering Pre-service Teachers: Acing the Licensure Examination and Navigating Hiring Policies”, the event also featured extemporaneous speaking, teaching demonstrations, and research presentations.
