PSA-12 Brings National ID, Civil Registry Services to USM

The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) and the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) discussed possible initiatives to support Muslim students and youth education, leadership, and welfare during the courtesy visit of NCMF Youth Sector Commissioner Hon. Atty. Syed Kamal Reza L. Ampatuan on October 12, 2026, at the Office of the President, Administration Building, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.
USM President Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel, represented by Vice President for Administration and Finance Ms. Quenielyn L. Durendes, received Commissioner Ampatuan during the visit.
The discussion focused on possible initiatives to support Muslim students and youth, particularly in expanding access to education, providing leadership opportunities, and supporting their development and empowerment.
Also present were USM Director of Legal Services Atty. Sunny Rye M. Nogalo, USMMUSA Internal Adviser Associate Professor Khadiguia Ontok-Balah, USMMUSA President Arfah M. Usman, and USMMUSA officers.
