Unisoft, a hygienic product corporation, donated 113 packs of maternity kits to the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) Hospital on June 02, 2025.

Each maternity kit contains one pack of wet wipes, two sanitary napkins for mothers, and four diapers for newborns.

According to Jinky Pasion, the territory manager of Unisoft in Cotabato Province, the donation serves as part of the company’s promotional strategy to raise awareness of their products. She shared that the initiative will continue on a monthly basis at the USM Hospital, depending on the availability of supplies.

“We initially launched the donation drive at the Cotabato Provincial Hospital in Amas, Kidapawan City, and then reached other district hospitals in the province,” Pasion remarked.

Following the turnover, some of the maternity kits were distributed to patients currently confined at the USM Hospital. The intended beneficiaries of the donation are newborns aged 0 to one month old.
