The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) granted the ₱50,000 cash incentives to Menrhyan Godwin Paredes Valdez, a BS Criminology graduate of the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) who secured the 6th place in the February 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE).
Meanwhile, the Department of Criminal Justice Education (DCJE) was also given ₱20,000.00 cash for ranking 2nd in the Top Performing Schools, Category B, during the same examination. USM posted a notable overall passing rate of 97.25%.
The granting of cash incentives took place on March 30, 2026 at the Administration Building during the Monday Convocation Program of the university.
