RAISE SOCCSKSARGEN Pitch Fest 2025 Draws Innovative Proposals Across Universities in Region 12

Ten graduates of the University of Southern Mindanao (USM), members of Bumannawag Class 63–2025 of the Officer Candidate Course of the Philippine Army Officer Candidate School (PAOCS) under the Training Command (TRACOM), paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel, USM President on December 15, 2025.
The visit served as an opportunity for the newly designated officers to reconnect with the University and express their gratitude to USM for the academic training and values formation that helped prepare them for the demands of military service. Dr. Pimentel, in turn, commended the officers for their dedication and commitment to national service.
“Dapat yang idealism ninyo nandiyan ‘yan, for the love of the country, integrity, at loyalty. Dahil visible kayo sa tao, dalhin ninyo ang pangalan ng USM at huwag sirain. Gamitin ito para sa ikabubuti ng lahat. Tatak USM,” President Pimentel emphasized in his message to the officers.

- 2LT Reynan M. Dela Cruz, PA – Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teacher Education
- 2LT Ezra Neil B. Omisol, PA – Bachelor of Arts in Political Science
- 2LT Joel Marl E. Angco, PA – Bachelor in Elementary Education
- 2LT Thom Ian G. Seguritan, PA – Bachelor of Technical Teacher Education
- 2LT Stephen C. Camancho, PA – Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teacher Education
- 2LT Jerico M. Dimanalata, PA – Bachelor of Science in Criminology
- 2LT Kent Van E. Bayog, PA – Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
USM expressed pride in the achievements of its graduates and extended its congratulations as they begin their service as officers of the Philippine Army, carrying with them the values of leadership, discipline, and service to the nation.
