First-time examinees from the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) posted 100% passing rates in the October 2026 Electronics Engineering Licensure Examination (EELE) and Electronics Technician Licensure Examination (ETLE), based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on October 23.
All two first-time takers from the USM Main Campus passed the EELE. The campus also posted a 100% passing rate in the ETLE, with its lone examinee passing the examination.
Overall, the Main Campus had three passers out of eight examinees in the EELE, for a 37.50% passing rate. Two of the eight examinees were first-time takers, and both passed, while one of the six repeat takers passed.
In the ETLE, the Main Campus had one passer out of one examinee. Meanwhile, the USM Kidapawan City Campus recorded a 100% passing rate among its two first-time takers. With one repeat taker who did not pass, the campus had an overall passing rate of 66.67%.
Nationwide, 1,106 of 2,337 examinees passed the October 2026 EELE, for a passing rate of 47.33%. In the ETLE, 1,804 of 2,057 examinees passed, equivalent to an 87.70% passing rate.The EELE was held on October 17–18, while the ETLE was administered on October 19, 2026.
