USM Personnel Attend 1st Regional Consortia Summit by DOST-PCAARRD

Associate Professor Jhon Dave E. Llanto, DPA, and Laurence Arjay T. Mamburam, faculty members from the Department of Public Administration of the College of Business Development Economics and Management (CBDEM) at the University of Southern Mindanao (USM), secured 1st Runner-Up in the LoQdown Quiz Bowl 2025 held on October 13, 2025, at Wagi Hall, Department of the Interior and Government (DIG) XII, Prime Regional Government Center, Barangay Carpenter Hill, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato.
The Quiz Bowl featured a broad range of questions on local governance, national policies, and current affairs, organized into three levels of difficulty: Easy, Moderate, and Difficult.
Held under the theme “Transforming Governance, Empowering Futures,” the competition was part of the 34th Local Government Month celebration organized by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) REGION XII.
According to DILG, the Quiz Bowl is designed to test knowledge and appreciation of local governance, policies, and programs while fostering camaraderie among Local Government Units (LGUs), National Government Agencies (NGAs), and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).
