Kabacan, Cotabato — The University of Southern Mindanao Extension Services Office (USM-ESO), in partnership with the College of Medicine (COM), officially aired the fourth season of its flagship radio program “Ugnayan Natin” on May 15, 2025, via DXVL KOOL FM 94.9.
Ugnayan Natin is a one-hour, forum-style radio program providing informative and educational broadcasts. The new season continues the program’s mission of community engagement and knowledge sharing.
The season opener featured Dr. Kenneth Nicolas D. Magbanua, MD, of the COM, as guest speaker. Dr. Magbanua discussed Antibiotic Stewardship, emphasizing the importance of using antibiotics responsibly to prevent the spread of antimicrobial resistance. He also shared practical insights for medical practitioners and the general public on protecting the long-term efficacy of antibiotics.
The program aired live from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on DXVL KOOL FM 94.9 MHz and was simultaneously streamed via the official Facebook page of DXVL 94.9 News and Public Affairs.
Since its inception, Ugnayan Natin has been a valuable platform for bridging the university with the wider community.
