USM Hosts Invitational Games for Founding Anniversary Celebration

The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) community gathered early morning on September 27, 2025, for a day of movement and purpose through a Fun Run, Fun Walk, and Tree Planting activity held at the USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.
Students, faculty members, and nonteaching employees, joined the event, filling the campus roads with energy and excitement. The fun run and walk served as a lighthearted yet meaningful way to encourage physical fitness and fellowship among participants.
After the run, the group proceeded to the designated planting areas, where they planted tree seedlings as part of USM’s efforts to create a greener and more sustainable campus.
University officials noted that simple activities like these remind everyone of the value of unity, health, and responsibility toward nature, principles that align with the university’s continuing mission to serve both people and the planet.
