DOST-MIRDC Presents Robotics and Automation Initiatives to USM

Student concerns and plans for the first semester of Academic Year 2026-2027 were discussed as officers of the University Student Government (USG) paid a courtesy call to University of Southern Mindanao (USM) President Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel on July 27 at the Office of the President, Administration Building, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.
During the meeting, the officers expressed their commitment in providing quality leadership and maintaining open communication with university offices to ensure proper coordination.
The discussion gave an opportunity for the newly elected student leaders to present matters affecting the student body, including upcoming student activities, class schedule concerns, and other priorities for the semester. It also served as a venue to discuss how the student government and the university administration can coordinate on programs and activities throughout the academic year.
Dr. Pimentel also shared his insights on the officers’ proposed plans and encouraged the student leaders to continue working closely with the administration in carrying out activities for the university community.
