The newly elected officers of the University Student Government (USG) of the University of Southern Mindanao took their oath to serve the student body of USM on June 18, 2025, at the Office of the President, USM Administration Building, Kabacan, Cotabato.
Headed by Mary Adeline Sagayno, USG President, the new set of officers offered their firm commitment to USM President Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel to render a well-rounded and inclusive service to the students of USM while keeping in touch to the sustained partnership with administration.
Meanwhile, President Pimentel sat for a conversation with the officers and discussed valuable points in recognizing present concerns of the students. President Pimentel also advised the officers to set as an example for the students to lead and serve according to the University policy guidebook, the USM code.
Currently, the new set of officers are yet to find and recommend an adviser to USM President and will officially assume office on June 30 of the same year.
Dr. Maria Leida M. Donque, Director of Office of Student Affairs (OSA), Kenny Floyd F. Montelija, former USG President, and officers from the USG-Comelec attended and witnessed the event.
