In a continued effort to expand quality education, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of M’lang reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) M’lang during a visit on May 26, 2025, at the Office of the President, USM Administration Building, Kabacan, Cotabato.
USM President Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel assured that under his leadership, USM M’lang will continue to operate, with the M’lang LGU serving as a partner in its growth and development.
Established in 2020, USM M’lang remains dedicated to providing accessible education under the directorship of Prof. Ian Leo S. Domingo.
USM M’lang currently offers Bachelor of Science in Criminology program with 88 students enrolled. As part of its growth, the Bachelor of Industrial Technology, with majors in Automotive Technology and Civil Technology is a new academic program set to commence in the first semester of the academic year 2025-2026.
Director Ian Leo S. Domingo, Municipal Councilor Cleofas M. Tupas, PhD, and Municipal Administrator Laurence A. Cece, attended the meeting with the President. The visit further solidified the collaborative efforts toward educational advancement in the region.
