USM to Host DA-PCC’s 11th National Carabao Conference

The Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) conducted an evaluation for the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Major Programs to wit:
1. Crop Science (Agronomy)
2. Animal Science,
3. Crop Science (Horticulture),
4. Crop Protection (Entomology),
5. Crop Protection (Plant Pathology),
6. Plant Breeding and Genetics,
7. Soil Science, and
8. Agricultural Extension
as well as a Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Preliminary Assessment (CPA) for the Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology of the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) on September 03, 2025 at the Graduate School Conference Room, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.
The RQAT conducted an ocular inspection and document review during the evaluation with Dr. Efren A. Magulama, Dean of College of Agriculture , along with the program chairpersons of the college.
Dr. Zohrahayda N. Panawidan, OIC Chief Education Program Specialist of CHED XII, led the evaluation along with the technical evaluators namely, Dr. Genero R. Andres, OIC Supervising Program Specialist, Dr. Jerry A. Cabinan, Dr. Josh Elisha R. Octura, Dr. Kieven Mark B. Ampode, and Prof. Jayson S. Suhayon, MSc.
Dr. Leorence C. Tandog, as the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) of USM, expressed her commitment for excellence and continuous improvement in delivering quality educational services especially in the agriculture programs.
The RQAT Evaluation at USM was overseen by the University Quality Assurance Office (UQAO), headed by Dr. Lawrence Anthony U. Dollente.
