USM Earns Level IV Re-accreditation for Five Academic Programs The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) has received Level IV re-accreditation for five academic programs from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. AACCUP granted the five programs Level IV re-accreditation, the highest level of accreditation, with a validity period of five years. The programs are: 1. Bachelor of Arts in English Language 2. Bachelor of Science in Development Communication 3. Master of Science in Biology 4. Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business 5. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine According to AACCUP, the programs satisfactorily complied with the mandatory recommendations required for their respective accreditations. The accreditation process was facilitated by the University Quality Assurance Office (UQAO), led by its Director, Dr. Lawrence Anthony U. Dollente, with the support of local counterparts, including faculty members, academic support staff, and administrative personnel. With these five programs, USM now has a total of 11 Level IV re-accredited academic programs.
