USM, COA Discuss Audit Priorities, Compliance Requirements

The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) College of Medicine recorded a 100% passing rate in the October 2026 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), placing USM among the top-performing schools in the category for institutions with 25 to 49 examinees and a 100% passing rate.
All 32 examinees from USM passed the licensure examination, according to the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on October 15.
The graduates received their medical degrees on July 18, 2025, making them the first batch of USM medical graduates to take the PLE.
Nationwide, 4,165 of the 4,447 examinees passed the October 2026 PLE, with a national passing rate of 93.66%.
