Kabataan Party-list Pays Courtesy Visit to USM President

Representatives of Kabataan Party-list paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the President of the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) on September 7, 2026, ahead of the upcoming budget deliberations.

The delegation met with USM President Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel to discuss matters concerning the university’s proposed budget, current infrastructure needs, and personnel supporting its operations.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for USM officials to present the university’s current needs and priorities, particularly those related to its operations, infrastructure, and delivery of higher education services.

The visit formed part of Kabataan Party-list’s engagement with stakeholders in the youth and education sectors in preparation for the upcoming budget deliberations.

USM continues to raise its institutional needs and priorities through appropriate government channels in support of its academic programs, operations, and infrastructure requirements.
