The University of Southern Mindanao (USM), through the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), distributed newly procured office equipment and supplies to Local Student Government (LSG) officers, advisers, and deans from various colleges during the Monday Convocation Program on August 24, 2026, at the Administration Building, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.
The equipment, worth approximately ₱3.4 million, was procured using accumulated LSG funds collected over the years. The fund was used to provide essential resources for the operation of LSG offices and the implementation of student activities.
Among the items distributed were air-conditioning units, desktop computers, printers, projectors, televisions, water dispensers, speakers, microphones, extension wires, metal cabinets, wooden tables, plastic chairs, tablecloths, and printer inks.
All LSG offices in the USM Main Campus received the equipment and supplies. LSG offices in Aleosan and Libungan will also receive their allocation once they comply with the required accreditation requirements.
Aside from the procurement of equipment and supplies, approximately ₱1.6 million from the accumulated LSG funds was allocated for the repair and rewiring of LSG offices, bringing the total fund utilized to about ₱5 million.
The distributed resources are intended to support LSG officers in carrying out their functions, managing their respective offices, and implementing programs and activities for the student body.

USM Namahagi ng Kagamitan sa mga LSG Gamit ang Naipong Pondo
Namahagi ang University of Southern Mindanao (USM), sa pamamagitan ng Office of Student Affairs (OSA), ng mga bagong kagamitang pang-opisina at iba pang suplay sa mga Local Student Government (LSG) officers, advisers, at deans mula sa iba’t ibang kolehiyo sa isinagawang Monday Convocation Program noong Agosto 24, 2026, sa Administration Building, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.
Tinatayang ₱3.4 milyon ang halaga ng mga kagamitang binili gamit ang naipong pondo ng mga LSG sa loob ng ilang taon. Layunin nitong matugunan ang mga pangangailangan ng mga LSG office sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na operasyon at pagsasagawa ng mga aktibidad para sa mga estudyante.
Kabilang sa mga ipinamahaging kagamitan ang air-conditioning unit, desktop computer, printer, projector, telebisyon, water dispenser, speaker, mikropono, extension wire, metal cabinet, wooden table, plastic chairs, tablecloth, at printer ink.
Nakatanggap na ng mga kagamitan at suplay ang lahat ng LSG offices sa USM Main Campus. Makakatanggap din ng kanilang alokasyon ang mga LSG office sa Aleosan at Libungan matapos nilang makumpleto ang mga kinakailangang accreditation requirements.
Bukod sa pagbili ng mga kagamitan at suplay, humigit-kumulang ₱1.6 milyon mula sa naipong pondo ng mga LSG ang inilaan para sa pagkukumpuni at rewiring ng mga LSG office, kaya nasa ₱5 milyon ang kabuuang pondong inilaan para sa mga kagamitan, suplay, repair, at rewiring.
Gagamitin ang mga ipinamahaging kagamitan upang matulungan ang mga LSG officers sa kanilang mga tungkulin, pamamahala sa kanilang mga opisina, at pagsasagawa ng mga programa at aktibidad para sa mga estudyante.
