The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) and the Department of Agriculture – Philippine Carabao Center at USM (DA-PCC at USM) officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) anew to strengthen its partnership recently at the Office of the President, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.
The memorandum outlines the obligations of both institutions that is anchored towards creating meaningful and positive changes in the communities they serve. USM will continue to provide land areas for the operation of PCC, and personnel needed by PCC. It also mentioned for USM to allow PCC to have separate administrative transactions and operations.
Moreover, PCC will also continue to allocate funds for the physical improvements and maintenance of the land areas provided by USM. PCC will also make its personnel available for research and instructional activities.
Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel, USM President, and Dr. Geoffray R. Atok, DA-PCC at USM Center Director, signed the memorandum of agreement in the presence of legal personnel from both PCC and USM.
