For its performance in the 2025 Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Licensure Examination, the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) was awarded a plaque of recognition after ranking fourth nationwide. The plaque was presented during the Oathtaking Ceremony of New Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) on January 26, 2026.
The recognition was given in connection with the university’s performance in the December 2025 licensure examination, where USM posted an 82.61 percent passing rate, producing 95 newly licensed Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers. Along with the plaque, USM also received separate certificates of recognition from the Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers (PSABE) and the Professional Regulatory Board of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.
During the same ceremony, USM alumnus Richard Andea Camato was also recognized after placing10th overall in the national licensure examination.
The oathtaking ceremony served as the formal induction of new Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers, attended by board officials, professional leaders, educators, and the new passers from across the country.
