KCC Enrollment Upped by 21% PDF Print E-mail

School Year 2010-2011 brought an influx of students to USM-KCC for the First Semester. From the previous School Year’s enrollment of 1,796 students, it has now increased to 2,175, an increase of 21%, much higher when compared to past population of the school.

Based on the data from the Campus Registrar under Mrs. Restituta Q. Montesser, the Three-Year Diploma of Technology in the different areas of specification has a total of 453 students and 279 for the Three-Year Certificate Course in Food Preparation and Service Technology. Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering has 144 students while the Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering has 174 students. Bachelor of Technology Education
students
has 576 and Bachelors of Technology student in different major of Specialization has a total of 526 students. For the Professional Education Program 23 students enrolled this School Year.

The offering of evening classes resulted from this increase in enrollment. Those students who cannot be accommodated in the regular class were scheduled for the evening class.
