KCC Celebrates 12th Foundation Anniversary; Hon. Medrano as Guest of Honor & Speaker |

USM Kidapawan City Campus celebrated its 12th Integration Anniversary last January 28, 2011 in a program at the Social Hall which started at 9:30 in the morning. It opened with a doxology and the singing of the National Anthem led by the KCC Chorale and a welcome address by the Associate Dean Prof. Priscilla V. Bayucot. A brief history of the school was delivered by Dr. Celedonia B. Purugganan. A concise accomplishment report was presented by the Campus Dean Dr. Rene U. Handoc, followed by an inspirational message of Dr. Jesus Antonio G. Derije, president of the University of Southern Mindanao.
Highlighting the occasion was the presence of CHED Commissioner, Hon. William C. Medrano, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker in the said activity. He inspired all those present with his speech, support and cooperation in developing and enhancing USM-KCC for its populace, ready to face the challenges of the future in the field of education and technology.
The theme for this year’s celebration was “USM-KCC-CIT at the Crossroads: Strengthening its Relevance in the Second Decade of the New Millennium”.

The USM-KCC-CIT ROTC Unit was evaluated by the Regional Annual Administration and Performance Evaluation (RAAPE) Team last February 09, 2011 at 8:00 in the morning in the KCC Parade Ground.
The days’ activity started with a courtesy call to the Campus Dean Dr. Rene U. Handoc by the Chairman of the RAAPE, Col. Roger D. Madalogdog CAV (GSC) PA and followed by the Commandants’ briefing at the ROTC Office.
Program proper was opened with a prayer led by Prof. Bonifacia A. Alojipan and words of welcome by Dr. Celedonia B. Purugganan. Dr. Antonio G. Derije, University President gave an inspirational talk.
To formally start the activity, Major Nestor M. Mondia, the Commandant turned over the responsibility in the conduct of inspection to Col. Roger D. Madalogdog CAV (GSC) PA, Chairman of the RAAPE. It was followed by the traditional ceremonial parade and review, after which the RAPPE Team conducted the Performance Evaluation. The Inspecting Team were as follows: Col. Roger D. Madalogdog CAV (GSC) PA, Chairman; Maj. Nestor M. Mondia (OS) PA, vice-chairman and members were: MS Jovito C. Antonio (CE) PA, MSg Reynaldo M. Ondoy (Inf) PA, TSg Joy R. Jugador (Inf) PA, MSg Fernando P. Songalia (Inf) PA, TSg Carlos F. Jomantoc (Inf) PA, SSg Benjie C. Gascon (Inf) PA, SSg Apan G. Mamalasay (Inf) PA, Sgt. Nelson C. Macuro (Inf) PA, Sgt. Joevannie E. Taño (Inf) PA and Cpl. Rodel L. Lara (Inf) PA.

92.3% Passed Mechanical Engineering Examination |

Twelve (12) out of thirteen (13) Mechanical Engineering graduates of USMKCC-CIT for the school year 2009-2010 passed the Mechanical Engineering Board Examination given last September 9-10, 2010, obtaining a passing percentage of 92.3%. These 4th Batch of Engineering were: Angelito A. Butigan, Benjur T. Castor, June Ray L. Facun, Arnel R. Gamao, Richie P. Maghari, Mark Daryll B. Marasigan, Francis Wayne A. Mojana, Josel F. Robles, Lou Jay E. Sta. Cruz, Jim Roy P. Untal.
On the other hand, Edson P. Casulucan also passed the said Examination for Engineers last Summer of 2010. |
