USCAO: Month Long Summer Workshop

USCAO announces its Month Long Summer - Workshops for incoming male and female FRESHMEN who intend to join:
USM MARCHING BAND in June
Any Interested students may join, 16 slots for scholarships are available and may be obtained through an audition after the summer program.
Registration fee of Php. 1,000.00 / head but only Php 500.00 for USM Dependents.
USM Combo
- This workshop is open to all as young as Grade 6 - up. There will be sessions for the playing of Guitar, Drums, Bass and other instruments.
- Group registration is encouraged
- Registration fee of Php. 1,000.00 / head but only Php. 500.00 for USM Dependents.
Enrollment will start on April 18, 2011 and Class Starts on April 19, 2011.

The university B’dadali dance troupe performed at Grand Regal Hotel, Davao City during the Nationwide Climate Change Summit of mayors with Pres. Benigno ‘Nonoy’ Aquino III, last March 16, 2011. Mayor Loreto Cabaya Jr. of Aleosan invited the troupe to perform during the said summit. B’dadali took the opportunity to carry out the performance in spite of the tapering final examination schedule. It was actually a challenge to take. Scholars doubled time and worked hard. They were properly screened for they would represent not only the name of the dance troupe but also the University of Southern Mindanao. In return to the enormous effort exerted, aside from the victorious performance, this new experience strengthened the troupe’s relationship and encourage them always aim for excellence. USM Combo ; Pre – Valentine Concert | |
The University of Southern Mindanao Combo will be having a pre-valentine concert for a cause today, February 14, 2011 at USM Gymnasium, 6:00 pm. This concert is to raise a fund for USM Combos participation on Musikahan sa Tagum 2011 “Pasiklaban Event” on February 19, at Tagum City at the same time. USM Chorale will be joining the quartet competition. This pre-valentine concert will be featuring songs of the yesteryears and most requested love songs.
