The event of which the biggest of this year is, Worl Library and Information Congress 79th IFLA General Assembly to be held at Singapore, 17 – 23 August 2013 with a theme “ Future Libraries: Infinite Possibilities“.

Library Conducts Instruction Program

The University Resource Learning Center (ULRC) Staff, in coordination with the College of Arts and Sciences – Department of English Language and Literature chaired by Prof. Marlon Salvador, Instructor/Professor of English III conducted a series of Library Instruction last June 18 – July 12, 2013 at the ULRC, Viewing Room, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.

Library Instruction Program

The Library Instruction Program is designed to give freshmen and transferee students an overview of the library, its access to resources and services, teach them the basic skills in the retrieval of books effectively and efficiently using the FOLLET-DESTINY LIBRARY Manager. Other topics include the introduction of general reference sources, access to E-Library, eResources like PROQUEST Central, Directory of Open-Access Journal Databases, ERIC Portal, etc.
